Driving Innovation, Talent Development, AND Sustainable Growth

purpose

Our mission is to bridge innovation, talent and investment to accelerate the adoption of clean technologies, foster human capital development, and drive sustainable growth in Latin America — delivering solutions that align with global energy and sustainability agendas of our nations and partners.

WHAT WE DO

  • Accelerating clean technology deployment through funding frameworks like the KliK Foundation and strategic partnerships.

  • Designing bilingual training programs, Capstone projects, and technical courses to develop skilled talent for the energy transition.

  • Providing strategic guidance to governments and industries—planning, executing, and scaling sustainable energy transformation projects.

  • Building cross-border collaborations with top universities, research hubs, and private companies to scale technologies and drive CO₂ reduction strategies.

OUR story

2022

Gonzalo Valdivia and Jose Rivera, while working at EC2G (Energy Conversion and Combustion Group) at Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, envisioned a model that would bridge industry and academia to address national energy strategies.

The two co-founders, now with Jose at UC Berkeley, joined forces to formalize a strategy, selecting Magallanes as a pilot region due to its critical role in Chile’s Green Hydrogen Strategy. Discussions with the regional government and the region’s leading university provided a deeper understanding of the local reality and the industrial transformation the region is undergoing, including environmental permissiveness, wind equipment logistics, as well as educational and urban challenges.

2023

After hosting conferences and engaging with international talent, they scaled their initiative to include governmental bodies in Chile and Switzerland, securing support from key players across the industrial, academic and political ecosystems. The strategy expanded into new areas, such as technology implementation, while their consulting activities rapidly extended to new locations globally.

Reinaldo Saavedra, driven by his personal ambition to bring world-class education to Chile, actively engaged in workshops, project development, and research initiatives in Switzerland and Chile, contributing to the foundation of the strategy in education and engineering.

Tomas Marchant joined the lead team to pursue the ambition of advancing digitalization, closely tied to the development of energy and education strategies.

2024

ENSDHub has established a global network spanning aerospace organizations, universities, and industrial partners, fostering talent development, clean technology implementation, and international collaboration aligned with both national and international sustainability goals.

Currently, ENSDHub is engaged in various projects with aerospace and energy organizations, aiming to enhance industry competitiveness through engineering solutions. The initiative has connected with over 20 direct collaborators and established partnerships with four world-leading scientific organizations to implement transformative projects in energy and education.
